My great great great great grandmother was a Kate Lane who had a sister Honoria Lane. They both lived in Brosna and died there. They would have been born sometime in the 1820's or 1830's I believe.
I also think it might have been Leane, not Lane like my grandmother wrote on our family tree. Still trying to figure it out. I think Kate(or Katherine) and Honoria would have been buried in
the Brosna cemetary for sure as almost all of my ancestors are buried in Brosna cemetary. And Kate Lane married George O'Callaghan and George and Kate's sons George, Daniel, and Patrick have a tomb in
Brosna cemetary where they were buried and some of their decendants. It is said to be the only tomb in Brosna cemetary. Since Kate married and George O'Callaghan lived in Brosna and three of their children are buried there in a tomb, I assume that Kate Lane(Leane) would be buried their as well. I was wondering if we might be distant relations.Or if you might know of any the persons I mentioned. I am also related to an Elizabeth Lane(possibly Leane) . She was my great great great grandmother. She was the only daughter of a farmer and had 11 brothers. She married Adam Keane and they were both from Brosna. Adam Keane, my great great grandfather was born in Brosna in 1819. Any info.or clues you might provide would be a big help. Thanks.
